Particular attention has been paid
to the laboratories internal air quality, and health and
safety issues. The design solution minimises energy use
by avoiding unnecessary through-put of cooling and heating
by matching supply air rates to occupancy and fume cupboard
usage. |

Laboratory Building
– Adelaide
A manifolded fume cupboard exhaust design solution
reduced riser space and roof exhaust stacks, and achieved
higher energy efficiency. Fast airflow control matches sash
movement in less than one second ensuring safe capture and
containment of fumes.
